Upon purchase of a PLNHOUSE Studio plan, the buyer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased plan files as specified in the applicable license tier. The license is personal to the purchasing individual or entity and may not be transferred, sublicensed, or assigned without an additional purchase.
All plans remain the intellectual property of PLNHOUSE Studio LLC. Purchase grants a license to use the plan; it does not transfer copyright, design rights, or any ownership interest in the work.
The standard purchase includes a Single Build License. Under this license, the buyer may:

An Additional Build License must be purchased for each additional construction of an already-purchased plan on a new property. Each Additional Build License is priced at 50% of the original single build price for that plan.
To purchase an Additional Build License, contact PLNHOUSE Studio with your original order number and the address of the new property. A new license confirmation will be issued for the additional build. Additional Build Licenses are stackable — purchase as many as needed for your project.
Additional Build Licenses grant the same use rights as the Single Build License for the specified additional property. All restrictions of the Single Build License apply.
A Reproducible License grants unlimited builds of a single specified plan to the purchasing entity. This license is priced at 8× the single build price for the applicable plan.
The Reproducible License is exclusive to the purchasing entity — it cannot be sublicensed, transferred, or extended to affiliate entities without a separate agreement. It grants unlimited construction of the specified plan by the purchasing entity for the duration of the license.
To purchase a Reproducible License, contact PLNHOUSE Studio directly. Volume pricing may be available for reproducible licenses covering multiple plans. The Reproducible License does not transfer any copyright or design rights.
Plans may be modified by a licensed architect or structural engineer as part of the professional review and stamping process. Modifications for local code compliance, site conditions, and buyer preferences are expected and permitted under all license tiers.
Modified designs derived from PLNHOUSE Studio plans remain subject to these license terms. The buyer does not acquire design rights or copyright over the base plan by modifying it. Modifications made by the buyer's design professional are considered part of the buyer's licensed build — they do not create a separately licensable plan.
Modifications may not be used to create derivative plan products for resale or redistribution.
All PLNHOUSE Studio architectural designs are original works of authorship protected by United States and international copyright law. All rights are reserved. The PLNHOUSE Studio name, logo mark, plan identifiers, and all plan set content are proprietary to PLNHOUSE Studio LLC.
Nothing in these license terms transfers any intellectual property rights to the buyer. The plans are licensed, not sold.
Violation of these license terms may result in immediate termination of the applicable license and legal action. PLNHOUSE Studio LLC reserves the right to pursue all available legal and equitable remedies for license violations, including but not limited to injunctive relief, actual damages, and statutory copyright damages.
